Deep Surface Cleaning
We use a rotary surface cleaner and pressure washing to lift dirt, algae, moss, tire marks and organic staining off every paver. It’s an even, controlled clean, so you don’t get the zebra stripes a wand alone leaves behind.
Deep cleaning, re-levelling, polymeric sand and sealing for driveways, walkways and patios across Oakville and the surrounding area.
If your driveway has gone grey, weeds are pushing up through every joint, and a few pavers have started to sink or wobble, you’re probably wondering if it’s time to rip it all out. Most of the time it isn’t. Interlock is built to last decades. What wears out is the surface and the sand between the stones, and both of those can be fixed.
That’s what we do. We strip years of dirt, moss and staining off the surface, pull up and re-set the pavers that have sunk, refill the joints with polymeric sand that locks everything in place, and finish with a sealer that brings the colour back and protects it from Ontario weather. You get a driveway that looks close to new for a small fraction of the cost of replacing it.
Every interlock job gets the same four-stage treatment, because skipping a stage is how sealers peel and weeds come back. We look at the condition of your pavers, explain exactly what needs doing and what doesn’t, and give you an upfront price before any work starts.

Old sand, weeds and debris get blasted out of the joints so the new sand has somewhere to go. This is the step a lot of companies rush, and it’s why their sand washes out after one season.
Sunken, heaved or rocking pavers get lifted, the base underneath gets corrected, and the stones go back in flush. That fixes trip hazards, puddles and that “my driveway is slowly collapsing” look.
We sweep polymeric sand into every joint and activate it, so it hardens into a flexible, locked joint. It holds pavers in place and blocks weeds and ants, and it won’t wash out the first time it rains.
Pick a natural matte finish or a richer wet look that deepens the colour. Either way, the sealer protects against oil, salt, UV fading and staining, and it makes future cleaning a lot easier.
Front driveways, side walkways, backyard patios, pool surrounds, steps and retaining wall caps. If it’s interlock or natural stone, we can bring it back.
Interlock restoration is a real investment, so it comes with real accountability. If something isn’t right when we finish, tell us and we’ll come back and fix it free. We do the final inspection with you, so nothing gets missed before we leave.
A spotless exterior doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from doing the same things right, in the same order, on every job. The Stone Surgeons Procedure is our five-step standard for how every project runs, from the first call to the final walk-around, so you always know what’s happening and what comes next.
It starts with a conversation. You tell us what’s bugging you about your property, and we come out (or look at your photos) to see it for ourselves. We confirm exactly what’s being cleaned, what isn’t, and when. You get a clear, upfront quote with no pressure and no surprises.
Every surface is different. We check the condition of your pavers, glass, siding or gutters and choose the right method, pressure and products for the job. On the day, we protect gardens, doors, windows and anything else nearby before any work starts.
This is where the precision comes in. We work methodically, one section at a time, with commercial-grade equipment and proven techniques: an even clean, careful joint work, a properly applied sealer, streak-free glass. No shortcuts and no rushing.
A surgeon doesn’t leave their tools behind, and neither do we. Debris is bagged and removed, surfaces get rinsed down, and your property is left tidier than we found it. If anything needs time to cure or dry, we tell you exactly how long.
Before we call it done, we walk the job with you. If anything isn’t right, we fix it on the spot. That’s the Stone Surgeons Satisfaction Guarantee, and it’s the reason every job ends the same way: with you happy to look at your home again.

Anyone can rent a pressure washer. Restoring interlock properly takes the right equipment, the right sand, the right sealer, and the patience to do the joint work and levelling that make it last. Interlock is the reason we started Stone Surgeons, so it gets our full attention and the same careful process on every job.
Here are the questions we hear most from Oakville homeowners about interlock restoration & sealing. If yours isn’t here, reach out and we’ll give you a straight answer.
In most cases, yes. If the pavers themselves aren’t cracked or crumbling, restoring them costs a small fraction of a full replacement and gets you most of the visual difference. We’ll tell you honestly if a section is too far gone.
Polymeric sand is joint sand mixed with binders that harden once activated with water. It locks pavers together, resists washout, and makes it much harder for weeds and ants to get established in the joints.
A natural sealer protects the pavers without changing their look much. A wet-look sealer deepens and enriches the colour with a subtle sheen, similar to how pavers look right after rain. We’ll show you both before you decide.
Foot traffic is usually fine after about 24 hours, and vehicles after about 48 to 72 hours, depending on the sealer and the weather. We’ll give you exact timing on the day.
Most driveways benefit from re-sealing every 2 to 3 years, depending on traffic, sun exposure and how much salt goes down in winter.
Roughly late spring to early fall. Sealer and polymeric sand need dry weather and mild temperatures to cure properly, so we schedule around the forecast.
